Brown has owned the Browns Estate Agents since it was founded in 1988, having previously
been an Associate Partner with Brown & Merry at Bedford and Woburn Sands until that
firm was taken over by Royal Insurance. He joined Peter Lane in 2002 to form Lane &
Browns with offices in Bedford, Gamlingay, Huntingdon, Kimbolton, St Ives, Langford,
Letchworth & Sandy as
well as an office in Mayfair, London
Graham was educated at Bedford School and upon leaving school started work on the
family farms in Kimbolton and in Devon. He then joined Knight Frank & Rutley in
Hanover Square, London in 1971 as an agricultural land agent, leaving to work overseas
returning to join Berry Brothers & Legge in Newport Pagnell as an agricultural
land agent. Changing from agricultural he joined Foll &
Parker in Woburn Sands, Beds as the residential office manager. In 1980 when the
firm merged with Brown & Merry he moved to become associate partner at their Bedford office.
Born and educated in Bedfordshire with an agricultural background he has broad diverse agency
experience in residential sales and lettings, acquisition and sale
of residential development land he now probably the most experienced estate agent in the
area.
