Typical initial cost
for renting from Lane & Browns are:-
Before you can move in we will require at least one months rent and one months
rent as a deposit (if in receipt of housing benefit one month rent plus two months deposit
). The deposit will be held under the Tenants Deposit Scheme with the
Dispute
Service.
We also require that every tenant hold contents insurance to a minimum sum of £2500 to
protect both the tenants contents as well as covering any accidental damage to the
Landlords contents. The normal set up cost for a tenancy through Lane & Browns
would be :-
Credit Reference £60 per person or per couple if together more than 2
years, This is non-refundable & payable upon application.
One months rent
One month Deposit
Set up Cost £75 plus VAT
The rent is thereafter payable on the 1st of each month by Standing Order.
We have a wide range of properties to rent, mostly modern and always in a good state of
repair. As full management agents we are responsible for any repairs and have a team of
trades people who will respond within 24 hours.
We provide a professional service to both
the tenant and landlord.
1 Bedroom properties start from about £425 per
month
2 Bedroom houses from £550 to £675
per month
3 Bedroom semi-detached houses from £700 to £850 per
month
4 Bedroom detached houses from £950 to £1500
Properties are available both furnished and unfurnished and
are normally let minimum 6 month Assured Shorthold tenancies.
